Company founder Walter Arp discovered his passion for entrepreneurship at an early age. After training as a master printer and building a successful international career – including establishing a major printing company in India – he took the bold step into an entirely new industry in the early 1970s. By founding HG Hamburg, he laid the foundation for what has become one of the region's most established real estate companies.

From the very beginning, trust, personal service and long-term client relationships have been at the heart of everything we do. Many of the properties we sell today have been entrusted to us for generations. What started with holiday homes priced at around 65,000 Deutsche Marks has evolved into a sophisticated international property market featuring exceptional villas, exclusive building plots and outstanding residences.

Even economically challenging periods, including oil crises, financial downturns and changing market conditions, never diminished the company's strength. Stability, experience and the ability to continually adapt to our clients' needs have shaped HG Hamburg for decades.

Today, Julia Arp leads the family business into its third generation. After several years of working internationally – including in Dubai – she returned to the Costa Blanca in 2015 to help shape the company's future. Walter Arp and his wife Reni have since retired from the day-to-day business and have confidently entrusted the company to their granddaughter.

Under Julia Arp's leadership, the family's decades of experience are combined with a modern perspective on the international real estate market. Having grown up in the region, she understands both the local market and the expectations of an international clientele. She combines traditional values with contemporary service and, together with her dedicated team, personally guides buyers and sellers through every step of the process with transparency, commitment and the highest standards of quality.
